What is love....

Baby don't hurt me...don't hurt me no more. I have to say Haddaway said it best. What is love? The answer is simple. Love is a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person. 2. a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend. Now that's what the dictionary says. My problem is how the word "LOVE" is thrown around like a hanky. Love is not a hanky, you can't just throw it around and use it to your advantage. That's not what love is. I hate it when I see a new couple that have only been dating for a month or so telling each other how much they "love" one another. That's BS! Don't get me wrong I believe in love at first site, but c'mon now...how often does that happen? Not very much. I can understand that when you meet a new person, whether it's a guy or girl, you have all these feelings going on inside you. Kinda makes you feel all bubbly inside. That's the spark or flame or whatever you wanna call it, maybe hormones. It's not love though. It's so easy to tell cause if you really "love" someone then you'll love them no matter what. Whether their short, tall, fat, skinny, white, black, or even Egyptian. Love is a very strong feeling. It makes people laugh, cry, smile or frown. Love can keep a happy home together, but it can also tear it apart. Love doesn't see color, race, religion, politics or any of that crap! Love is continuing. It keeps getting stronger and stronger as time passes. Infatuation consist of people thinking they are in love but when indeed it is just a deep lust or like for another person. And lust is an uncontrolled or illicit sexual desire or appetite, a passionate or overmastering desire or craving. Neither of those are love, as much as we want them to be. Of course us being humans, our human reaction is to always want what we can't have. That's human nature, that's why people always hit on married people. It's the game of trying to get what's not yours. That's a whole different blog though. So before you tell that special person that you've only been dating for about a month that you "love" them. Think about that...do you really? Or are you just thinking with a different part of your body, other than your heart. If your in a relationship and a simple mis-understanding leads to a break up, then it wasn't love. How do I know? Cause love is stronger then a simple min-understanding. Love is one of the most powerful feelings out there! Now if your telling your best friend or your co-worker that you love them, that's a different kind of love. There's only 2 different kinds of love, so don't get em twisted. If you do, it may come back and bite you in the ass later. Just think before you say the word. If it's said to prematurely then you might scare the other person off. Or if the person is a psycho and you tell them you "love" them then later down the road when things don't work out and you try to leave, well now that's when their "psycho" side comes out. "But you said you loved me!" Now...you got problems! Basically just think & listen before you speak. Someone once told me, you have one mouth and two ears. So listen twice as much as you speak.
Thanks for checking out my blog, feel free to leave your comments. I "love" hearing & seeing your feedback!

What's wrong with fast food?

So what's the big deal about people that work in fast food? That's an awesome question...let's talk about that for a minute. First off the biggest thing that I hear is "I don't wanna flip burgers for a living". Umm ok...so if nobody else is hiring and you need a job to pay the bills...what are you gonna do? Not take a job in fast food cause of your pride? That would be a mistake! If it was me, I'd rather be making 8 or 9 dollars an hour than nothing at all. You can always adjust your living to suit your current income. Oh yeah it's gonna be hard...I didn't say it was gonna be easy. That's what life is all about. Living and learning. Learning to swallow your pride, suck it up and go get a freakin job. If that means at a fast food place then so be it! It doesn't mean you can't find a better job down the road. What about benefits? Now I know when you start at a fast food place you usually don't get benefits till you become a manager. So what! Don't let that discourage you. Once you get hired, work your ass off to get promoted and stay outta the drama at work. It's not that hard.
The second thing I hear alot of when it comes to fast food is from women. I hear ALOT of women say they wouldn't wanna date a guy that works in fast food. That's kinda weird for me too. Wouldn't you wanna date a guy that at least has a job than nothing at all and is constantly hitting you up for money and a ride? If the table was turned I'd definitely wanna date a woman that works in fast food. I'd take that over not having a job at all. What you get paid depends on alot. What you do with the money all depends on YOU! If your spending way beyond your means then yeah...you're always gonna be broke. If and only if you can discipline yourself to be responsible with your money then you can succeed. And you will! So the next time you hear of someone working in fast food...give em a break. At least they have a job! And women...take it easy on guys that are in fast food. Their trying...some of them the only way they know how. So cut em some slack...they can always be promoted and move up the chain of command. Bottom line is...a job is a job. Handle your business, pay your bills, and by all means HAVE FUN!
Feel free to leave me some comments letting me know your thoughts...

Why Am I Up Right Now?

It's 3 am, I can't sleep. I think I passed out to early. So since I'm up I figured I'd try to figure out how to post pictures to my blog. I see a lot of nice looking blogs out there. I just started blogging, this is like my 4th blog ever, in my life. Lol So yeah anyway I think I have this figured out. This blogging thing is pretty cool. I like having a place that I can come to and......I don't know.....vent, unwind, just get things off my chest. And to be able to customize your blog just the way you want it is a pretty cool thing. Sorry I'm impressed by the little things in life. I really wish I would get tired enough to go back to sleep. I like blogging, but right now I'd rather be sleeping, instead of sitting here at 3:09 in the am blogging to you guys. At least I'm working a short shift in the morning. I've already got about 5 hrs of sleep in. So if and when I fall back asleep that will just be added to the 5 hrs I already have. Lol Wtf am I talking about?! I know I'm rambling...on and on and on......like ducks....floating on the pond. Lmao wtf. I'm gonna look at this tomorrow and it's gonna make me laugh. Lol Ya know something...cats do some pretty weird things in the middle of the night. I think they have more energy in the middle of the night vs. the middle of the day. Now it's 3:20 am. I'm sitting here leaning on my left hand propping my head up staring at my computer screen. It's 3:24 am now. Ok I'm gonna try to get some shut eye. I almost typed shit eye. Lmao Lol that would have been funny. It's 3:27 am my computer is tired and needs resting. I'm gonna go plug it in to it's charger, then I'm gonna try to get some sleep. Till next time...

The New Guy...

I wanted to write this blog about this new guy we have at work. Now I just started blogging, so I'm really not sure on what I'm allowed to do, and what I'm not allowed to do. So I'm just gonna call this guy Bob. Lol So Bob is a pretty young guy and this is his first job. Now when I was 18 I had already been working for about 2 and a half years. Some people start later than others. No warm in that. Anyway so Bob just started there and this kid is freakin awesome!!! He's like a sponge...meaning he just wants to soak up as much info as he can. Which is GREAT! Cause we need people like that. Someone that has good work ethics, someone that's a hard worker, and someone that is willing to learn. That's Bob! I work with Bob alot and I train him just as much as the next guy. So I just hope that Bob will learn everything he can, caused whether he stays here or moves on, long as he keeps his thirst for knowledge, I think he'll do really well in life. I've tried several times to get people to sweep the floor or wipe down things, and some people do and some people don't. I don't inforce that, cause we have managers that will do that. I just try to get the new people off to a good start with the least amount of hickups as possible. I saw Bob sweeping the other day, I was floored, I couldn't believe it! So I thanked him and told him how awesome that was that he took the initiative and even did that. He said he sees me sweeping all the time and was trying to help me out. I was floored! He said "Dude I'm picking up all your habits" lol I said "that's fine, as long as their my good ones." Lol I like Bob I know eventually he's gonna move on to bigger and better things. For now I hope he stays around for a while. I like the guy. I'll tell ya what...there's nothing better than having someone that wants to learn, wants to do good, and wants to succeed under your wing. In the end we both shine! Shine on Bob...Shine on!

Enjoy the little things...

Something I've noticed lately is that people are really stressed out right now in this day and age. Whether it's stress coming from friends, family, co-workers, or even money. We all need to learn to let go. Don't stress over things that are out of your control. For example...if I'm late on my car payment and I've tried EVERYTHING I can to make that payment and I just cant do it. That's right about the time that I just let it roll off my shoulders. At this point I know I've tried everything in my power to make that payment and still had no luck. So let it go. You stressing about how your gonna make that car payment or who you can borrow the money from is not gonna drop a basket full of money into your lap. So let it go and deal with it the best you can.(within your means)
Stress is a killer...it kills people everyday and doesn't need to take a day off or even a vacation for that matter. Don't let it get the best of you. Learn to enjoy the little things. The things that you normally take advantage of. When's the last time that you really watched the sunset and enjoyed its peacefulness and serenity? When's the last time you sat at the ocean and listened to the waves crashing against the shore? When's the last time you took a walk through the woods and just took in and enjoyed everything mother nature has to offer? If you cant remember the last time you've done any of the above, then you need to stop right now and go out and find something to enjoy. Go walk along the beach...go walk through the woods...if you live in the city, well you have two options. Find a place where you can just sit and observe the city life around you. Like a coffee shop, or outside a smoothie shop. Just sit there and watch the world happen around you. Or if you have the access...find a rooftop. From there you can watch the whole hustle and bustle without actually being in it, but your actually right in the middle of it. Just take a deep breath in and enjoy the day. Or if you are not in the city or in the mountains or by the ocean. Just go outside and start walking...who knows where your going or where you're gonna end up, that's the beauty of it. If you can, bring some music to listen to, that's what I do. It's really relaxing and it keeps your head outta the stress cloud. Music is everyone's passion. So on that note...go grab your Ipod or MP3 player, turn this off (cause my blog will still be here when you get back) and go see what you can get into. Just start walking...who knows where mother nature will take ya. Only time will tell...

I'm not the one...

I hate it when people try to act like someone their not when someone else (like a supervisor) is around. It's funny to watch. They start acting all polite and professional when their "really" not. They start barking orders at people that are already "holding it down" so to speak, doing their job. Unlike some people...I really wanna mention, but I wont. Don't worry about me...I'm taking care of my shit. At the same time I do understand that they have to make sure every one is doing their "job". If your gonna do that when a supervisor is in the building, how hard is it to just do that all the time. We have to hold people accountable. Accountable for what? For whatever that particular jobs requires you to do when and if they hire you. Every job in the world has some level of things that they expect you to do when they hire you. So all I'm saying is just do your job! Do what they hired or promoted you to do. That would make everyone's day SO much easier. An old manager once told me..."you are who you are when no ones looking" meaning if your at work and your suppose to be sweeping, but your standing there talking your ass off. Then when you notice your manager coming you immediately stop talking and start sweeping...as if they didn't see that. C'mon that just means your a slacker. Now on the flip side, lets say your supervisor walks up on you and sees you sweeping your area without anyone telling you or surprising you by coming around the corner. And you don't even know your manager is watching, and your diligently working your butt off. That's because you're one of those people with really good work skills/ethics. If your a slacker it'll show in your work ethic. If your a perfectionist or just someone with good work ethics that will also show in your work. So before you get on me for doing my job and then some...make sure your getting on me for the right reasons. Cause I'm not the one....
